On August 13th, Aryssa’s vehicle was found abandoned at Amazing Grace Baptist Church along State Highway 123 south of Seguin. Her phone and other belongings were still inside. The Sheriff’s Office says handwritten notes found in the vehicle suggest Aryssa may be experiencing a mental health crisis. Investigators say they have found no signs of foul play. Her family says this is completely out of character. They normally speak every day, sometimes several times a day. Now they haven’t heard from her. “Her family misses her and just wants to know she’s safe,” Tara told me.
